The National Defence College awards students a certificate in strategic management of state resources and a master's degree in strategic and security studies. Upon fulfilling the academic requirements of the program, students will be able to:

The college has established guidelines for conditional admission for students who have met all admission requirements except for English language proficiency. There are no other options for conditional admission to the college.
English Language Proficiency: A candidate with an IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL score of 550, or equivalent, must achieve the college's required English language score and submit it to the college by the end of the student's first semester in the master's program. Students who do not submit the required English language test score by December 17 of the current academic year will not be eligible for the master's degree.
